Grammy Awards, higlights della 61esima edizione

Si è svolta stanotte, presso lo Staples Center di Los Angeles, la 61esima edizione dei Grammy Awards presentata da Alicia Keys!

Sono stati assegnati ben 84 premi e una delle novità di questa edizione è stata l’ampliamento delle nomination delle quattro categorie principali, ovvero Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year e Best New Artist, a ben otto candidati anzichè cinque. A trionfare sono stati Childish Gambino, Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Brandi Carlile, H.E.R. e Cardi B. In particolare, quest’ultima artista sarà ricordata per aver stabilito un nuovo record, infatti (SPOILER ALLERT) Cardi B, vincendo il Best Rap Album, è diventata la prima donna a trionfare in questa categoria!

Tante sono state le esibizioni sul palco, da Dua Lipa e St. Vincent a Lady Gaga e Mark Ronson, da Post Malone e Red Hot Chili Peppers a Travis Scott e James Blake.

Ma ci sono stati anche momenti di riflessione. Primo tra tutti il discorso di una bellissima e elegantissima Lady Gaga (premiata con ben 3 Grammys) sui problemi di salute mentale. Un altro momento che passerà alla storia sarà senza dubbio il discorso di Michelle Obama, salita a sorpresa sul palco insieme ad Alicia Keys, J Lo, Lady Gaga e Jada Pinkett Smith.
